Xiao Zhuyu Island is located approximately 3.5 kilometers east of Dongtou County, facing the vast East China Sea. It is part of a group of islands and reefs, including Da Zhuyu, Xiao Zhuyu, Hutouyu, Beimaoyu, and Bijiayu. The island boasts a natural lawn area of about 4,500 square meters, which accounts for one-tenth of the total island area. The lawn is well-vegetated and evenly distributed, resembling a large green carpet spread out.
On the east side of the island lies an international shipping route, which is a must-pass for ships traveling from the south to the north. An international lighthouse stands on the island, with a height of 7.8 meters and a light height of 103 meters above sea level, capable of reaching 16 nautical miles.
