The Ba Xian Ancestral Hall is located at the waist of the treasure gourd-shaped scenic area, occupying a central position on the central axis. It is a standalone building within an independent courtyard. Facing south, the main hall is dedicated to the Eight Immortals, with two ancillary halls on either side, known as the Blessing Hall and the Wealth God Hall, respectively. Among the many mythological tales of Penglai, the legend of the Eight Immortals stands out as the most vivid and enduring. It has been passed down for centuries and has had a profound influence throughout our Chinese civilization. References to the Eight Immortals can be found as early as the poetry and miscellaneous records of the Tang and Song dynasties. It was not until the Ming dynasty, in Wu Yuantai’s work ‘The Eastern Trip of the Eight Immortals’, that the eight deities were officially recognized as Tieguai Li, Han Zhongli, Zhang Guolao, Lu Dongbin, He Xiangu, Lan Caihe, Han Xiangzi, and Cao Guojiu. The opening hours and specific business status are subject to the daily operational conditions.
