The Zibo Zoo was established in October 2005. It is located on the north side of National Highway 309 in Hutian Town, backed by Yuhuang Mountain and adjacent to Yudai Lake on the west. The Zibo Zoo is jointly invested and constructed by Zibo City and Zhangdian District. It is a large modern zoo in central Shandong. After four years of cold and heat, with the strong care and help of all sectors of society, it has more than 860 animals. It has become a comprehensive zoo integrating animal breeding, viewing and entertainment, popular science education, animal protection, and catering services. The zoo is divided into animal exhibition areas, animal performance areas, entertainment areas, and catering service areas. When tourists enter the zoo, it is like entering an animal world.
