The Baochong Memorial Archway is located in the Zumiao Scenic Area of Foshan City. It is named after the two characters ‘Baochong’ engraved on the stone dragon and phoenix board. The production process of its building components is exquisite. There are single brick carvings with metaphorical patterns such as dragon and phoenix auspicious clouds, fish leaping over the dragon gate, unicorn jade book, precious duck wearing lotus, peony daylily, and precious tripod and sword. There are also reliefs of two dragons playing with pearls and immortals and arhats composed of multiple brick carvings. It is a masterpiece that integrates the decorative techniques of architectural brick carvings at that time. Open all year round and all day. For specific opening hours, please refer to the on-site announcements of the scenic area or call for consultation.
