Riyue Spring is located at the former site of ‘Nantian Guan’ in Yuncui Mountain Scenic Area, Hongfanchi Town, Yin County, and is named for its pool shape resembling the sun and the moon.

The waters of Riyue Spring never dry up and do not fluctuate with droughts or floods. The Moon Spring is to the south, and the Sun Spring is to the north, with the two springs adjacent yet not connected.

Water can flow between the two pools, meandering through twists and turns, eventually flowing into Tianyi Cave. The spring water is more than a foot away from the cave entrance, and visitors can draw and drink from it.

The surrounding area includes natural and historical cultural relics such as Tianzhu Peak, Bijia Mountain, Ziling Fort, and Sanqing Temple.

Opening hours are subject to the actual operating status on the day.
