Shantai Ecological Park Ski Resort is located in Xiaxu Village, Songcun Town, Wendeng District, Weihai City, known as the ‘Hometown of Longevity in China’ and ‘Costal Health Capital’. Invested over ten million yuan by Wendeng Shantai Breeding and Ecological Garden Co., Ltd., it is one of the largest ski resorts on the Jiaodong Peninsula. The ski resort covers an area of 130,000 square meters and is the only one with a snow play area on the Jiaodong Peninsula. It is divided into skiing area, snow play area, and leisure area, capable of accommodating thousands of skiers at the same time. The total length of the ski trails is 1,000 meters, including one intermediate trail, two beginner trails, one snow circle trail, and a snow play area. It is equipped with a 1,500 square meter ski equipment hall, with over 700 sets of single and double skis, and a 150-meter magic carpet that operates well to meet the needs of customers for intermediate trails. Additionally, a 280-meter tow rope has been added to meet the demand for intermediate ski trails.
The snow play area covers an area of 10,000 square meters, with projects such as snow circles, children’s sleds, snow tanks, snowball pools, ocean balls, and snow mazes.
