The Happiness Gate, also known as ‘Weihai Gate’, is located at the eastern end of Shichang Avenue in Weihai Happiness Park. The building is designed to be 45 meters high and 42 meters wide. The whole building is in a ‘gate’-shaped structure. At a height of about 30 meters above the ground, there is a sightseeing corridor (11th floor) connected by a horizontal overpass. Standing on the corridor, one can overlook the beautiful Liugong Island to the east and see the panorama of Weihai city center to the west. At positions 36 meters high (13th floor) and 39 meters high (14th floor), there are high-end western restaurants with sea views. While enjoying delicious food, one can also enjoy the beautiful and charming blue sea view. At the foot of the Happiness Gate, one can often visit various cultural exhibitions such as celebrity painting exhibitions, photography exhibitions and urban change photography exhibitions. As a landmark building in Weihai, the Happiness Gate is like the image ambassador of Weihai, opening its heart and warmly welcoming friends from all over. Opening hours: From May 1st to October 31st, it is open from 08:00 to 20:00; from November 1st to April 30th, it is open from 08:30 to 17:00.
