Hai Zhi Yun Park, formerly known as Donghai Park, is located in the eastern part of Dalian’s coastal scenic area, covering an area of over 450 hectares, 10 kilometers away from the downtown area. It is bordered by the sea on two sides, connects with Dalian’s Zhongshan District in the north, and adjoins the Bangchui Island scenic area in the southwest. The park boasts beautiful scenery and charming views, with a coastline stretching over 1200 meters. It is a coastal park featuring natural landscapes such as mountains, forests, clear seas, and grasslands.
The 7.6-kilometer-long tour route features two exciting attractions: the first is the eighteen bends that twist and turn across the mountains, known as the ‘Eighteen Bends’. This landscape is unique, offering a commanding view and a road that resembles a silver ribbon floating towards the sea, earning the nickname ‘Undersea Grand Canyon’. The second is the ‘Strange Slope’ beyond the Eighteen Bends, where cars seem to defy gravity, either climbing or descending against expectations, creating an amusing spectacle. In addition, there are other attractions such as the ‘Hai Zhi Yun Square’ and a replica of an ancient warship. The park is open all year round from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 18:00, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 to 19:00.Hai Zhi Yun Park
