The Huangdao Ordnance Museum is located at the western end of Liugong Island. Upon entering the museum’s gate, the welcoming pine of Liugong Island catches the eye. Inside the museum, various modern naval guns and cannons such as ship-mounted machine guns, recoilless rifles, and naval artillery are displayed. The museum comprises eight exhibition halls in total.


Naval Development History Hall: This hall provides a detailed textual and pictorial account of the birth of ancient Chinese naval forces, the establishment of modern Chinese naval forces, and the growth and modernization of the contemporary People’s Navy.


Light Weapons and Ammunition Hall: It features a selection of ship-mounted anti-aircraft machine guns as well as handguns, rifles, and ammunition.


Aircraft and Ship Models Hall: A variety of aircraft and ship models broaden visitors’ horizons.


Naval Uniform Hall: The hall showcases various styles of uniforms from different periods since the founding of the People’s Navy and modern naval rank epaulettes.


Chemical Defense Equipment Hall, Underwater Ordnance Hall, Torpedo Hall, and Missile Hall: These halls are designed to educate and entertain, enhancing knowledge and broadening perspectives.


In addition to these, outdoor displays feature aircraft and various types of naval artillery. The opening hours and business status are subject to the actual opening conditions on the day.
