Tiandi Square is located in the center of Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone. It is adjacent to Changjiang Road in the north and Zhujiang Road in the south. The square takes green as the keynote, highlighting the main body of natural plants and embellishing artificial landscapes such as sculptures and sketches. The central axis of the square divides the square into two viewing groups in the north and south to express the meaning of Tiandi Square. The north is the ‘Sun’ square related to ‘heaven’. The center adopts radial roads outward, which are shaped like sunlight. The south is the ‘Earth’ square related to ‘earth’. The center is surrounded by a planned circular road, which is shaped like the earth. Wandering in this green ocean of plants, you can fully enjoy the infinite pleasure of a beautiful life. There is the district logo of Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone, China erected on the square. The theme is ‘The shining open pearl competes with the sun for glory’. Around the monument body, six sails are smooth and eight springs are gushing, which means forging ahead bravely in the rapids and being prosperous.
