The Dongjiguanshan Russo-Japanese War Site is located in the northeast of the urban area of Lvshunkou District, Dalian. It was an important battlefield on the eastern defense line of the Lvshunkou land battle during the Russo-Japanese War in 1904. At present, relatively complete Russo-Japanese War sites are preserved here, mainly including the Russo-Japanese War Exhibition Hall, the North Fortress of Dongjiguanshan, the Erlongshan Fortress, and the Wangtai Fort. The Russo-Japanese War Exhibition Hall uses various forms such as explanations and physical displays. With rich and detailed materials, it deeply exposes the crimes of imperialist aggression against China. Here are more than 300 important historical materials, photos, objects, and charts from the Sino-Japanese War and the Russo-Japanese War period. There is also a large electronically controlled sand table of the battle for the Lvshunkou fortress during the Russo-Japanese War produced by Changchun Film Studio and video materials. The North Fortress of Dongjiguanshan is mainly composed of facilities such as the fortress gate, officer’s room, barracks, ammunition depot, telephone room, side anti-tank bunker, outer trench, protective trench, trapezoidal well, secret passage, artillery position, machine gun position, kitchen and dressing station, bunker, fortress backyard, wooden suspension bridge, and skirmisher trench. From northwest to southwest and south are logistical living facilities, and from northeast to southeast are military and political combat defense facilities.
