Wulei Mountain Scenic Area is composed of three main attractions: Wulei Lecture Temple, Lotus Garden, and Zangyun Creek. Nestled in the basin surrounded by mountains on the northern side, Wulei Lecture Temple stands amidst verdant peaks, deep valleys, and peculiar stones, earning it the nickname ‘Little Peach Blossom Spring’.
Within the Wulei Mountain Scenic Area, Zangyun Creek stretches for 1.5 kilometers, characterized by its clear streams, grotesque rocks, peculiar trees, and secluded valleys. In this scenic spot, the valley’s streams and waters complement each other, with strange rocks and pools visible everywhere, surrounded by lush trees, offering a pleasant view and steep mountain terrain with unique geological features. Wulei Lecture Temple is one of the oldest monasteries in Eastern Zhejiang, founded during the Red Crow period of the Three Kingdoms’ Wu Kingdom, with a history of over 1700 years. Adjacent to the west of Wulei Lecture Temple, the Lotus Garden was originally a low-lying, desolate area. The main attractions in the Lotus Garden include Auspicious Lotus, Seven-Step Lotus, and Prajna Paramita Heart Sutra. Relying on the deep mountains and ancient temples, and utilizing the Buddhist imagery of the lotus, Wulei Mountain Scenic Area has constructed the Lotus Garden, which integrates Buddhist culture with garden scenery. Visitors can admire lotus flowers, taste green tea, and let go of their worldly troubles, entering a world of clarity. The area is open year-round from 08:30 to 16:30.Wulei Mountain Scenic Area
