Among the five mountains of Langshan, the other four mountains are in a longitudinal trend, while only Jianshan Mountain is in a transverse trend. Legend has it that Emperor Qin Shi Huang once tested his sword on this mountain, so the mountain was named Jianshan. Jianshan is the religious site of Manjusri Bodhisattva in Nantong. Every year, many students who are about to take the college entrance examination and senior high school entrance examination and their parents come here to burn incense and make wishes. Nowadays, the Manjusri Temple here is full of incense all year round, not only before and after the college entrance examination and senior high school entrance examination.
