The China Media Museum is located in Communication University of China in Beijing. It is the first professional museum of media in China. The museum is a characteristic museum with radio and television as the main body and covering printing, advertising, animation, new media and other cultural industry elements as the core. Currently, the museum has more than 15,000 collections and has four branches: the radio museum, the television museum, the film museum and the transmission museum. These exhibition halls show visitors the evolution and development of China’s media history through words, pictures, physical objects and display means such as multimedia, dioramas and panoramas. There are also projects for audiences to participate in in each exhibition hall, which are full of fun.
Opening hours: Open from 09:00 to 16:30 from Monday to Friday throughout the year. Closed all day on Saturday and Sunday throughout the year. It is closed on weekends, statutory holidays and winter and summer vacations. The specific business status is subject to the opening situation on that day.
