Yin Xiuzhen’s artistic creation is based on people. Her sensitivity to daily materials makes her works always contain the temperature of life. At the same time, her curiosity about the celestial realm since childhood has also directed her vision to space, continuously expanding the temporal and spatial dimensions of imagination and creation. This exhibition will cover the entire first floor space of PSA. The eponymous work ‘Piercing the Sky’ located in the hall will start an exploration spanning heaven and earth. Through about twenty masterpieces with different materials and vocabularies, the exhibition will not only present the iconic works and latest thoughts of artist Yin Xiuzhen, but also lead viewers to start a discussion and imagination around heaven and earth, people and the universe, inside and outside.
