Taixing City’s Xuanbao Town is known as ‘China’s First Town of Ginkgo’. The core area is located around Zhanghe, where there are more than 13,800 ginkgo trees planted, including three thousand-year-old ginkgo trees, over 1,600 ginkgo trees over 200 years old, and over 3,800 ginkgo trees over a hundred years old. It is a rare ancient ginkgo community both in China and around the world. The lush foliage and short trunks of the ancient ginkgo trees form a unique posture of Taixing ginkgo.
Large trees are either encircling villages or distributed along ditches and roadsides, naturally integrated and contrasting, like a gathering of canopies, with distinctive scenery in each season. Experts and scholars have praised it as ‘a wonder of nature, a paradise for leisure’. The park is open all year round and accessible 24/7.Jiangsu Taixing National Ginkgo Park
