The Shanghai History Collection Museum displays a small part of Mr. Zhang Jianming’s tens of thousands of collections. However, it is already dazzling and extremely beautiful. There are also old books, periodicals and magazines. The displayed objects are even more abundant: from gas lamps, biscuit tins, milk bottles, to staplers, sphygmomanometers, Fahrenheit thermometers, to fire extinguishers, batons, car license plates, bicycle license plates, house numbers, and even a checkbook of Citibank, as well as two scales with a history of more than a hundred years and a pair of men’s leather shoes of the ‘Heming’ brand handmade in the 1930s. ..
