Culai Mountain is located at the junction of Tai’an City and Xintai City, with a mountain range running from east to west, stretching over a hundred miles, and facing Mount Tai from a distance. The main peak, Taipingding, reaches an elevation of 1028 meters.
There are numerous historical sites within the mountain, including Shaijingtai, where Confucius heard songs, and Zhuxi, a gathering place for Li Bai and others during the Tianbao era. At the end of the Western Han Dynasty, the rebel army led by Fan Chong set up camp here, and during the Qing Dynasty, the Nian Army defeated the Qing forces in this area.
