Heban Mountain scenic area is located in the southern mountainous area of Zouping County, Shandong Province. There is a direct bus from the county seat. To the north of the scenic area is the Jinan-Qingdao Expressway. It is 30 kilometers away from Zibo City and less than 50 kilometers away from Jinan City. It is a mountainous natural scenic area. Heban Mountain belongs to the Baiyun Mountain system and has always been known as the ‘subsidiary mountain of Mount Tai’.


The Heban Mountain scenic area covers an area of 7,200 hectares, with a forest coverage rate of nearly 90%. There are a total of five tourist routes with a total length of more than 6,000 meters. The entire scenic area has fresh air, a good ecological environment, complex and changeable terrain, long and narrow winding valleys, and many scenic spots such as mountains, rocks, waterfalls, springs, and clouds.


It is known as the ‘ecological pearl in central Shandong’. The scenic area is themed on leisure and vacation. The main landscapes include Hero Stone, Bloody Pool, Nine Waterfalls Gully, Nine Pools Creek, Water Curtain Cave, Heming Valley, Hexiang Ridge, Bird Garden, Wild Grape Valley, Sophora Flower Valley, and Changsheng Courtyard. The total area of Heban Mountain Park is 480 hectares, of which 356 hectares are forestry land.
