Hongshan Cuigu Scenic Area is located in Xiaoshiwu Village, Duozhuang Town, Zhangqiu District, Jinan City. It is one of the five major theme projects of the ‘Colorful Mountain Village’. The area is situated to the east of the Bai Zhang Cliff Reservoir and to the west of the Big and Small Stockades, with beautiful mountains and clear waters, surrounded by villages, achieving a perfect blend of natural and cultural environments.
Hongshan Cuigu Scenic Area is abundant with wild yellow smoke trees, which turn from green to yellow and then to red in autumn, creating a vivid red ocean. Every October, the scenic area holds an autumn leaves viewing festival, showcasing breathtaking beauty.
Within the scenic area, there are several attractions such as the Buddha Viewing Platform, Red Romance, Mountain Lake Scenery, and the Victory Platform. During the autumn leaves festival, the scenic area hosts a mountain goods fair in Guanying Village, selling mountain agricultural products in the form of a traditional market. Agricultural products like Sichuan peppercorns, millet, and mountain walnuts are particularly famous.
The scenic area is open year-round from 08:30 to 17:00. Special policies apply for children under 1.4 meters in height, who enter for free. Students with special identification documents can book tickets and use them with relevant valid identification, qualifying for student tickets.
