The Camel Xiangzi Museum is located in Lao She’s former residence at No. 12 Huangxian Road, Qingdao City, Shandong Province. It is a professional museum named after a literary masterpiece. Lao She’s former residence has three floors, and the first floor is used as the Camel Xiangzi Museum. The museum has more than 280 collections, fully showing Lao She’s creative and living conditions during his stay in Qingdao. In the courtyard, there are a bust of Lao She, a statue of a rickshaw puller, a wall of Lao She’s works, comic strips of ‘Camel Xiangzi’, and the ‘Rickshaw Route Map’ drawn by Lao She’s son Shu Yi himself. Visitors can feel the unique charm of Lao She and his works as soon as they enter the courtyard.


Opening hours: From Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year, it is open from 09:00 to 11:30 and from 13:00 to 16:00; closed all day on Monday throughout the year.
