Feicui Lake is located in Hefei Economic and Technological Development Area, adjacent to numerous higher education institutions such as Anhui University and Hefei University of Technology. The entire scenic area covers 2022 acres, with 947 acres being the lake surface, which was repurposed from the ancient Geng Reservoir. The terrain is gentle, featuring water surfaces and various trees, offering beautiful natural scenery. The scenic area is divided into four zones and one park, namely: the Ecological Leisure and Entertainment Area, the Dam Landscape Interactive Area, the Feicui Lake Guesthouse Area, and the Feicui Park Area. The design concept of the scenic area breaks away from the traditional symmetrical and uniform layout, establishing a design philosophy of ‘Humanities, Ecology, and Landscape’. It combines modern and classical Chinese garden construction methods, utilizing landscape elements such as mountains, water, city, and forests, emphasizing the unity and harmony between humans and nature. Although man-made, it appears as if it were created by nature itself. The scenic area is open all year round, accessible 24/7.
