Caoqiao Gudun Farmer’s Paradise is located in the southeast of Caoqiao Town, bordered by the Yi River to the east and containing the Luoma Lake within its territory. The Lianhuo Expressway and Yinghu Avenue form a cross within the area, making the transportation convenient and the geographical location prominent. The construction of the paradise began in February 2008, and it now features over ten ancient-style buildings, including pavilions, terraces, towers, temples, ancient wells, ancient trees, medieval mounds, Yutang Tower, Shanyu Tower, a farmers’ reading room, fitness rooms, museums, agricultural tool exhibition halls, calligraphy and painting corridors, calligraphy and painting rooms, rooms for gold and jade artifacts, statues of great figures, and karst caves, totaling more than 40 scenic spots.
The history of the ancient mounds, anecdotes of ancient wells, legends of the divine ox, and stories of Zhang Dali add a rich cultural atmosphere and humanistic depth to the Farmer’s Paradise. The park is open all year round from 9:00 to 17:00.Caoqiao Gudun Farmer’s Paradise
