The ancient town of Longwang (formerly known as Furonggang), with a history of thousands of years, is located 30 kilometers north of the Tianchang city center, adjacent to the beautiful Gaoyou Lake.
The town features well-preserved ancient residential buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties, with distinctive characteristics. During the reign of Emperor Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty, a top scholar (Zhuangyuan) emerged from this town. The former site of the Eighth Branch of the Anti-Japanese Military and Political University of China is scattered among these ancient dwellings, complementing the historical residences. It is open all year round from Tuesday to Sunday, 08:30-11:30 and 14:00-17:00; closed all day on Mondays. The specific business status is subject to the daily opening conditions.Longwang Anti-Japanese Military and Political University Eighth Branch
