Pao Lu is located at 221 Ganquan Road. It was built by Lu Dianhu, the chairman of Zhenyang Automobile Company, and constructed by Yu Jizhi, a famous gardener in Yangzhou. This garden is known for its unique horizontal length. It is small but contains great wonders and has a different world within. Entering Pao Lu through a narrow alley, it is divided into two small courtyards on the left and right. The garden gate of the east courtyard is round, with the stone inscription ‘Pao Lu’. The east courtyard is connected by a corridor. Green paulownia trees are planted in the south. They are slender like tall bamboos and have an elegant posture. Through the corridor, one reaches a half pavilion. The pavilion railing is by the water. The pool water turns northward from here. At the end of the pool, there are three rooms. Several peak stones are placed on the flower bed by the pool. The path is paved with cobblestones. Pao Lu is relatively well-preserved.
