Panlong Cave is located in Shizishan in the north of Yunfu City. It is named after its winding cave body that resembles a flood dragon. Panlong Cave is a secondary karst cave with a history of more than 170 million years. It is about 520 meters long and is divided into three layers. The upper layer is the Paradise Cave leading to the sky, the lower layer is the Longquan underground river, and the middle layer is the Nine Dragon Corridor.
Each layer has unique scenes such as strange peaks and rocks. Stalactites and stalagmites emerge in an endless stream. Under the colorful lights, they transform into strange and colorful postures, giving tourists a wonderful experience as if they were in a fairyland. Panlong Cave is formed by the groundwater from Yunfu City slowly flowing through the cracks in marble and continuously eroding and expanding over a long period of time. The various stone landscapes are completely natural. Except for artificial lighting, there is no affectation or additional decoration. It can be called a major wonder in Yunfu City. Since the scenic area opened to the public in 1985, it has received nearly 10 million tourists. Opening hours: Open all year round from 08:30 to 17:30.
