Sanfeng Qingliang Zen Temple is located on the third peak of Yushan Mountain to the northwest of Xingfu Temple. It is an ancient temple before the Tang Dynasty with a large scale. There are many scenic spots in the temple, including Jizhao Hall, the reading place of Weng Xiangguo, the ancient Fahua bell, and ancient pines from the Six Dynasties. To the southwest of the temple is Wansong Forest, with undulating mountains and layers of pines reaching into the clouds.

In ancient times, a couplet was inscribed in front of the temple: ‘Let out a long roar, and the mountains echo and the valleys respond. Raise your head and look around, and you will see the vast sea and the boundless sky.’ ‘The green pines of Sanfeng’ is one of the eighteen scenic spots of Yushan Mountain. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the Japanese invaders invaded Changshu, and Wansong Forest was destroyed.

Only 45 ancient pines over a hundred years old remained. After liberation, trees were replanted by the forest farm. Now it is lush and green, and the varieties have increased to include torch pines and slash pines introduced from abroad, becoming an important part of Yushan National Forest Park. The specific business hours are subject to the opening situation on that day.
