Dong Sheng Tang is located in the Dongsanlian neighborhood committee on Pinglou Street in Lili. Originally named Puji Buddhist Temple, it was built in the Southern Song Dynasty. In 1524, the third year of Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, Wang Ji, the magistrate of Wujiang County, changed it into a community altar. There is a community altar stele (now moved and stored in Liu Yazi Memorial Hall). At that time, it was used for the village head to lecture on rural agreements. It was renovated in the late Qing Dynasty. Currently, there is a wall gate, a flat hall and two side buildings. On the west wall at the entrance, there was originally a stele prohibiting farmers from resisting rent issued by Suzhou Prefecture in 1904.
