The Tianchang Museum is the only comprehensive museum in the eastern region of Anhui. Located on Shi Liang West Road in Tianchang City, it covers an area of 12 acres with a construction area of 4,500 square meters. The main building is a Ming-style structure with three visible and four hidden floors. The museum currently employs 51 staff members.
The Tianchang Museum boasts a rich collection of over 5,000 cultural relics. Exhibitions are divided into two parts: permanent and temporary. The permanent exhibition, ‘The Life of General Luo Binghui,’ mainly consists of over two hundred photographs and some artifacts, showcasing the tumultuous and grand life of General Luo Binghui. Another permanent exhibition, ‘Selected Cultural Relics from Han Tombs in Tianchang,’ primarily displays some of the finest cultural relics unearthed from the Sanjiaowei Han tomb cluster, the Anlebeigang Han tomb cluster from the 1970s, and those discovered in recent years during construction projects.

The exhibition is categorized based on the texture of the artifacts into several halls: the jade hall, the iron and wooden artifacts hall, and the pottery, bronze, and lacquer ware hall. In the jade hall, the displayed jade items are divided into three parts: ceremonial jade, burial jade, and decorative jade. Among them, a particular circular white jade dragon with long whiskers is of fine texture, meticulously polished, and especially notable for its exquisite craftsmanship, including the use of hollow-out and openwork carving techniques that enhance the three-dimensional effect of the piece, making it a rare treasure.
