The Shicheng Renjia Scenic Area is located in the modern agricultural demonstration park of Dangtu County. The scenic area adopts Huizhou architectural style. The periphery is surrounded by Huizhou-style walls. The ground is paved with unique large flagstones in Huizhou. Two arhats are lined up on both sides. Each has a vivid shape. At the entrance, there are also a pair of fierce and mighty stone lions weighing more than 20 tons and garden landscapes. At present, the scenic area can be divided into three areas: high-end bonsai garden, root carving exhibition hall, and water sightseeing area. The high-end bonsai garden covers an area of about 20,000 square meters. Inside, there is the treasure of the garden – the conjoined welcoming pine and four combined bonsai, as well as nearly a thousand potted bonsai of various characteristics of different sizes. The root carving exhibition hall is composed of the main hall and the arhat hall. Together with the corridor, the total building area is about 4,000 square meters. It is a building complex with architectural style of the Qin and Tang dynasties. Inside the main hall, there is a giant root carving ukiyo-e with a height of 10 meters, horizontal Buddhas of the three generations and Bodhisattva statues, and 800 arhats with different shapes. The water sightseeing area has beautiful rockery landscapes made of about 5,000 tons of Taihu Lake stones, Lover’s Lake, a hundred-meter waterfront cultural corridor, and rare and endangered plant Taxus chinensis with a height of seven or eight meters.
