St. Paul’s Church was completed in 1923. It is St. Paul’s Church of Nanjing Anglican Church in China. It has a history of more than 80 years. It is the first formal Christian chapel in Nanjing. St. Paul’s Church is designed in accordance with the popular revivalist form in the West at that time. It is small in scale and is a typical small rural church in Western Europe. St. Paul’s Church is elegant and delicate. Its appearance belongs to a relatively authentic Gothic architecture. The internal structure replaces the Gothic pointed arch cross vault with traditional Chinese framework. Opening hours: Closed all day from Monday to Friday throughout the year; Open from 09:00 to 10:30, 14:00 to 15:30, and 19:30 to 21:00 on Saturdays throughout the year; Open from 07:00 to 08:30, 09:00 to 10:30, and 14:00 to 15:30 on Sundays throughout the year. It is usually not open to the public. Specific opening hours are subject to the announcements in the scenic area.
