The Qingguanding Stone Forest is in front of Shanli Village in the south of Haitan Island. It is composed of 5 connected small peaks and is about 10 kilometers away from the county seat.
In the low hills covering an area of 0.6 square kilometers, there are spherical weathered granite bodies everywhere. They are huge in size and vary in shape. There are more than 30 strange and pictographic rock landscapes. For example, on Mianyang Peak, there are “Mandarin Ducks Arranging Feathers”, “Old and New Wukong”, “Banyan Tree on the Rock”, “Sheep Lying on the Hillside”; on Eyu Peak, there are “Leopard Patrolling the Mountain”, “Pig Bajie Appearing”, “Bear and Dolphin Confronting”, “Goshawk Glaring”; on Xiannv Peak, there are “Tang Seng Asking the Way”, “Xiyu Toutuo”, “Seeing the Sky through a Hole”; on Shen Diao Peak, there are “Turtle Reaching the Foot of the Mountain”, “Lovers Meeting”, “Pig Bajie Resting”; on Qingwa Peak, there are “Australian Kangaroo”, “Horse Drinking and Chicken Pecking”, “Golden Monkey Looking Back” and “Penguin Watching Dogs” etc.

Around the stone scenery, the remaining fortresses and trenches crisscross.
