Shunyi Museum is located in Shunyi District, Beijing. The museum’s exhibitions are divided into three parts: permanent exhibitions, featured exhibitions, and temporary exhibitions. The first floor houses temporary exhibition halls and featured halls, while the second floor is dedicated to the permanent exhibition hall. The museum boasts a rich collection, including precious stone tools, bronze wares, porcelain, pottery, jade, rubbings, gold and silver wares, and miscellaneous items from 19 different dynasties, dating from prehistoric times to modern history. It also showcases the development of Shunyi in agriculture, industry, and cultural education since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, presenting the historical appearance and characteristics of Shunyi in various periods.
