The Tianjin Postal Museum is divided into four main sections: the Prologue Hall, the Courier and Other Communication Organizations Hall, the Postal Services Hall, and the Philately Hall.
The museum displays precious cultural relics, including the rare treasures ‘Ferrar’s Manuscript’ and ‘Small Character Red Revenue Stamp’, as well as the ‘Wheel Tracks Stone’ from the Qin and Han dynasties, ‘Brick Painting’ from the Tang dynasty, a complete sheet of ‘Large Dragon Stamps’, actual mailed envelopes of the ‘Large Dragon Stamp’, actual mailed envelopes of the ‘Zongli Yamen’, actual mailed letters of the De Cui Lin family, and the ‘Postal Wagon’ of the Chinese Post.
Opening hours are from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00-16:00, all year round; the museum is closed all day on Mondays.
