The Jingang Bridge was initially built in 1903. It is located at the southern end of Zhongshan Road and spans over the Haihe River. It was a historical steel pontoon bridge entirely riveted together. It has now been demolished. The current Jingang Bridge is built on the basis of the old bridge. It has a rainbow-shaped appearance and is a half-through stress structure. After the completion of the new bridge, it has a novel, beautiful and magnificent shape. It has a sense of contemporary architecture that matches the style of a modern international metropolis and adds another magnificent new sight to the Haihe River.
