An ancient residence, hidden deep within the bustling city, bears the marks of a century’s vicissitudes… Located in the northern section of the Ancient Cultural Street, Tongqingli No.7 Courtyard is one of the larger groups of Sino-Western combined courtyard-style buildings in Tianjin, still retaining the appearance of olden times. Originally constructed in 1913, it was a bank established by the Bian family’s grain store in Hebei, Tianjin, and later converted into residential housing.


In 2003, it was officially reclaimed by Tianjin Real Estate Group and is now part of the Ancient Cultural Street, used for tourism and commerce. Covering an area of 406 square meters, Tongqingli No.7 Courtyard is a comprehensive venue that integrates traditional Chinese opera performances, cultural and creative goods, teahouse culture, traditional Chinese studies, and private banquets. It hosts numerous corporate team-building activities, personnel training, travel group receptions, and traditional snack experiences.
