The Jiusan Society building, a German-style architecture, was constructed in 1914 and originally served as the residence for German military officers. Later, it was occupied by staff of the Kailuan Mining Administration. After World War II, American military officers lived here. Following the liberation, the building was reclaimed by the state and from 1957 onwards, it has been used by various organizations including the Tianjin United Front Work Department, Tianjin Federation of Industry and Commerce, China Democratic National Construction Association, and the Jiusan Society, all of which have had their offices in this building. The opening hours are subject to the on-site announcement at the scenic area.
