Yue Island is located in the Bohai Bay, on the southwest side of Laoting County, Tangshan City. It is a sandy island named for its crescent moon shape. The island boasts soft sand dunes, gentle beaches, and calm tides, with seagulls soaring in the blue sky, making it a beautiful scene and earning it the nickname ‘Little Maldives’ near Beijing.
Yue Island’s environment is quite pristine, with shrubs and bushes growing wild, and coastlines suitable for swimming. In spring and summer, wildflowers bloom, and strolling leisurely on the island to enjoy the sea view is very pleasant. Many Dutch-style wooden houses and colorful villas have been built on the island. The wooden houses are built over water, creating a beautiful sight, and visitors stay in these wooden houses and villas. Yue Island also offers bicycle rentals and electric carts for island tours, allowing visitors to cycle around and appreciate the blue sky and the ocean. Opening hours are from 08:30 to 16:00 all year round. Preferential policies for children: Those under 1.2 meters tall (inclusive) accompanied by at least one paying adult are free. Elderly: Those aged 60 and above (inclusive) with a senior citizen card or ID card enjoy discounts. Students: Full-time undergraduate and below students with a student ID card enjoy discounts. Disabled: Those with a disability certificate enjoy discounts. Military: Active and retired military personnel with a military officer or soldier ID card enjoy discounts. Firefighters: Firefighters with valid documents enjoy discounts. Service facilities include a parking lot at Sanbei Mingzhu Passenger Dock with the following reference prices: Small cars (up to 7 seats) 18 yuan per vehicle per entry; Medium cars (7 to 14 seats) 27 yuan per vehicle per entry; Large cars (more than 14 seats) 36 yuan per vehicle per entry.
