Lu Hefu’s former residence is the home of the nuclear physicist, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and known as the ‘Father of Chinese Nuclear Energy’, Lu Hefu, located in Tianjin. The residence, built in 1930, was situated at 25 and 26 Riastide Road in the Italian concession of Tianjin at that time, which is now No. 403 Shengli Road in Hebei District. The former residence was constructed by his father, Lu Jinggui, in the late 1920s. It is a two-story building with partial three-story sections and a basement. The third floor, facing the street, houses his study room, making it a three-story European classical-style building. The opening hours and business status are subject to the daily opening conditions.
