HOW ART MUSEUM (Shanghai) is a new cultural institution equipped with contemporary art collection, exhibition, research, and educational functions, located in Pudong, Shanghai. It has three floors of exhibition and activity space, with a total area of about 7000 square meters, and officially opened to the public in September 2017.
HOW ART MUSEUM pioneered the ‘Night Art Museum’ operation model, with regular opening hours from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM from Tuesday to Friday, and from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM on weekends and holidays. This allows more visitors to come to the museum to view exhibitions after work. The museum also hosts international exchange programs and outdoor activities such as the ‘International Curator Residency Program’, ‘Outdoor Film Festival’, and ‘Sculpture Park’, thereby establishing a new art complex and a new landmark in Pudong.
