Fotuguan Park is located three kilometers west of Chongqing city, adjacent to Eling Park, and is the historical site of one of the original twelve scenic spots of Bayu, known as ‘Fotu Night Rain’.
Its terrain is steep and lofty, with an elevation of 388 meters, and it slopes sharply on both sides, making it a strategic fortress that military forces have contended for throughout the ages. Due to the ancient construction of the Night Rain Temple, the ‘Fotuguan Inscription’, ‘Fotuguan’, ‘Qingzheng Lianming’, and various other commemorative inscriptions, as well as the rock carvings of Buddha statues on the cliff walls, it is named Fotuguan. Today, it has been developed into a park and is open to the public. Opening hours are from 08:00 to 22:00 all year round.Fotuguan Park
