Hiking Trail – The hiking trail of Zengwen Reservoir is located on the left side of the dam area. The hiking trail has a total of 375 steps. Climbing up the steps, you can reach the acacia forest at the top and overlook the beautiful scenery of the lake and mountains of the reservoir. When returning, you can walk down along the existing industrial road. The shady trees along the way are accompanied by a gentle breeze.
It takes about 40 minutes to reach the working dock. It is quite suitable for people to come here to enjoy hiking and sightseeing. Zengwen Dam – The Zengwen Reservoir dam is 400 meters long and 133 meters high, and the water area is as high as 17 square kilometers. It is equipped with a tourist service center, gazebos and recreational facilities, conference rooms, reception halls, outdoor activity facilities, and camping and barbecue areas. The facilities are complete and very suitable for people and government agencies and organizations to hold large-scale activities. Bird Palace and Roadside Garden – Located near Zengwen Bridge No. 5. In the bird cage area of the Bird Palace, there are more than ten kinds of conserved and non-conserved island birds. The colors are gorgeous and very pleasing to the eye. There are also illustrations to explain their ecological habits. It provides multimedia guided tour explanation films and affordable catering for scenic spots. In the roadside garden, there are giant trees that are several decades old. Colorful flowers are also planted.
