Jiucun Village, located at the foot of Tianmu Mountain with an altitude of 820 meters, is one of the highest administrative villages in Huzhou City. This village, perched atop a mountain, boasts a history of 350 years. As you wind along the serpentine mountain roads, a quaint and tranquil small mountain village suddenly comes into view when you reach the summit at over 820 meters. From the edge of the village, you can gaze upon distant layers of mountains and bamboo forests that seem like an ocean, and nearby, small bridges over flowing streams, and ancient trees and homes, making you feel as if you are in a fairyland or a paradise away from the world.
Walking through the village, you can see ancient residences scattered throughout, which are late Qing Dynasty buildings that absorb the architectural styles of the Wan Nan and Zhejiang schools, with blue tiles and white walls, presenting a unique characteristic of mountain dwellings. The four seasons in Jiucun Village offer different scenery compared to other places. In spring, flowers bloom in abundance, forming a splendid tapestry; in summer, orioles leap and birds sing in competition; in autumn, maples and pines rustle, with red leaves blazing like fire; in winter, the mountains are rugged, with gnarled branches showing resilience. In the wilderness of Jiucun Village, the clear springs never run dry throughout the year. Jiucun Village is not only home to the beautiful legend of the Immortal Stone but also has an outdoor adventure base – Jingkongli Gorge. The entire gorge stretches for more than ten miles, with towering mountains, long rivers, lush vegetation, and a drop of a thousand meters. As you ascend the stream, you are flanked by cliffs that seem to have been carved by a knife, with various large rocks and types of vegetation within reach in the streambed. The endless valley leads to unknown mysteries, adding endless fun for adventurers. The entire area is open all year round and available 24/7.Jiucun Village
