Tangshan is located in the eastern suburb of Nanjing. It integrates steles, springs, caves, lakes and temples. It combines cultural landscapes and natural scenery, presenting unique features. In Leigong Mountain in the west of the town, there is a huge cave group with a total area of tens of thousands of square meters. According to scientific identification, the relatively complete fossil of an ancient human skull unearthed in the cave is the Nanjing ape-man who was born about 300,000 years ago, confirming that the Yangtze River Basin is one of the birthplaces of the Chinese nation. In addition, the hot springs in Tangshan Scenic Area are a characteristic experience here and worth a try. Open all year round and open all day.
