Yuquan River Scenic Area is located 19 kilometers southeast of Fuling City in Chongqing, and 128 kilometers away from Chongqing’s urban area. Connected by highways and cement-hardened roads, it is accessible by car in 2 hours, making it an ideal destination for conferences, leisure, tourism, and vacations.
As part of the thousand-mile Wu River, Yuquan River Scenic Area boasts lush green mountains, clear waters, and fresh air. The canyon features pristine vegetation, steep cliffs along the riverbanks, and numerous ancient Ba people’s relics. The 4-kilometer-long ancient gorge trail has been widened and reinforced, transforming the once steep and difficult river valley into a passable route. Wandering along the ancient gorge trail allows visitors to return to nature for sightseeing and leisure while also reflecting on the hardships faced by the ancestors of the Ba and Yu regions in their struggle for survival, fulfilling a dream of tracing one’s roots.

The 3-kilometer-long ‘Ba Yi Lake’ at the confluence of two rivers is a pristine ecological preserve with rippling waters, bird songs, and fragrance of flowers. The lake surface offers boat and yacht sightseeing tours. The construction of a visitor service center, floating wooden houses, and Ba people’s inns will transform this area into a charming and scenic ‘Ba Yi Lake Water Entertainment Center’.

The 5-kilometer-long canyon rafting is a traditional tourist activity in the scenic area. In the summer and autumn, riding a rubber boat and drifting down the waves, the fatigue and monotony of urban life will suddenly disappear, and vitality will be instantly restored!

The area is open all day from January 1st to December 31st.
