Chaohu Culture Park in Fengdu County is a comprehensive open-style park that began construction in November 2001 and was completed and opened to the public in December 2003. The park covers an area of 11.77 hectares (176 acres), including: water area of 0.11 hectares, building area of 0.1 hectares, road and square area of 2.28 hectares, green area of 9.28 hectares, with a greenery rate of 78.8%.
In 2008, the park successfully created a second-level standard park in Chongqing and is managed by Chongqing Lifeng Municipal Gardening and Greening Co., Ltd. The park is approximately 490 meters long from east to west and about 350 meters wide from north to south. It includes ten scenic spots and garden viewing areas such as the main entrance square (north and south gates), landscape avenue, Chaohu Grand Stage, city exhibition hall, fountain landscape, landscape road, stacked water landscape, viewing pavilion, amusement park, and leisure corridor. It also features garden viewing areas with peach, plum, red leaf plum, ginkgo, osmanthus, and nan bamboo.
The park is equipped with leisure and fitness facilities such as a skating rink, leisure tea seat, bumper cars, children’s paradise, sea-land-air, moon car, space car, and mass singing and dancing. It is open all day from January 1st to December 31st.
