My destination was set for the Lively Outdoor Base at Changxing Island’s Orange Garden Store, a place not only known as a secret retreat for summer escape but also as an excellent venue for team cohesion and joyful collisions.

As we arrived at the Orange Garden Store, the last glow of the sunset gently spread across the sea. Stepping into this world encircled by greenery and the fragrance of fruit, a wave of freshness and coolness greeted us as if we had instantly teleported to another realm, far from the hustle and bustle of the city and its oppressive heat.

As night fell, the evening retreat activities at the Lively Outdoor Base officially began. The first thing that caught our eye was the blazing bonfire, its light reflecting on every excited face as we sat around it, enjoying the deliciousness and pleasure brought by barbecue. Fresh ingredients sizzled on the charcoal, with the fats dripping and making a ‘sizzling’ sound, filling the air with an enticing aroma that made our mouths water. After dinner, we moved to the water for an invigorating kayaking adventure. As the night deepened, we moved indoors for a series of relaxing and enjoyable board games and indoor team-building activities. With a variety of game options such as card games, werewolf kills, and billiards, everyone could find their own fun.
