The Ancient Ocean Exhibition Hall, covering an area of approximately 2577 square meters, primarily showcases the magnificent evolution of Earth, oceans, and life since the formation of oceans about 4 billion years ago. It is divided into five sections: the序厅, the Primordial Ocean, the Ocean of Life, the Dragon Sea Vicissitudes, and the New Ocean. The exhibition is organized chronologically by geological eras, featuring 1158 fossil specimens such as stromatolites, trilobites, ammonites, nautiloids, and ichthyosaurs, narrating the story of the evolution of Earth, oceans, and life over the past 4.6 billion years.
