The Anglican Church, also known as the Church of England, is located next to Nathan’s former residence in Tianjin. Its architectural style is characteristically British, distinct from other churches in Tianjin, standing out in its uniqueness. The construction of the church took a decade and was officially completed in 1903, with all its successive priests being British. In May 1935, a devastating fire severely damaged the chapel, and the restoration work was completed in June 1936.
