After the visa expires, the applicant should reapply. Chinese embassies and consulates abroad will not handle visa extension procedures. When applying for a visa, the party concerned should indicate the length of stay in China on the visa application form. After entering the country, if for some reason you are unable to leave the country as planned, you should go to the local public security exit and entry management department to apply for visa extension procedures before the expiration of your stay.
